The hotel venue (Melia-Sitges) offers accommodation to the participants at a special reduced price:
- Twin rooms with single occupancy at 150 euros/night (breakfast included but not including 10% VAT and tourist fee).
- Twin room double occupancy at 170 euros/night (breakfast included but not including 10% VAT and tourist fee).

The Josep Tarradellas-El Prat Barcelona airport (BCN) is the main airport close to Sitges at a distance of 25km. There are two terminals at Barcelona Airport. Most flights operate from terminal 1 (T1), but low-fare companies like Easyjet, Ryanair, Wizzair,etc, operate from terminal 2 (T2). There is a free bus shuttle that connects both terminals. The train station at the airport is located in Terminal 2.
The main train station in Barcelona is Barcelona-Sants. There are fast train connections to Madrid and Southern France.

The company MonBus operates a bus service from Barcelona airport to Sitges: www.monbus.cat (website in English, French, Catalan and Spanish ) Contact details: e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org – Tel. (+34) 93 893 70 60 The company website shows timetables and prices. There is a surcharge for fares to and from the airport. The MonBus bus stop is at Terminal 1 (T1). There is a free airport shuttle bus for passengers arriving at Terminal 2 (T2) located under the bridge outside T2B. The distance between the two terminals is 4km and the ride takes between 10-15 minutes. The shuttle bus runs every 7 minutes, 24/7.
The bus from the BCN airport to Sitges takes approx 25 minutes and costs 4.50 euros
The airport train station is situated opposite Terminal 2 (T2), and is connected to this terminal via an airbridge. There is also a Bustransit service between the train station and T1. To get to Sitges you need to change trains at the station of El Prat de Llobregat and take a train in the opposite direction.
Itinerary: Airport-El Prat de Llobregat (one stop). Service from the airport starts at 05.42 until 23.38. Trains run every 30 mins. Change trains at El Prat. Train for Sitges on Line R2 Sud takes 24 mins. Trains run every 30 minutes.
There are taxi ranks at the main exits for Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2). The fare for the ride is shown on the meter. In addition there are surcharges for luggage, port/airport pick-up and drop-off and toll charges if you take the motorway. (Fares are shown on a price list inside the taxi).
From Barcelona Airport T1 may cost around 60-75€ and from Barcelona Airport T2 may cost around 65-80€

The R2 regional (Rodalies-Cercanies) line connects the Barcelona main train stations to Sitges.

The distance of 38km is covered in 45-55 min, depending on the number of stops the bus makes on the way. Not all buses stop at the airport.
The Barcelona service starts on Ronda Universidad, 33 between Calle Balmes and Plaza Catalunya. There is another stop on Calle Sepúlveda and another at Plaza España. The Sitges stop is in front of the Parc Can Robert on Avenida Vilanova, 14.
The company that runs this service is Mon Bus, which also offers transport between the towns of Sitges, Vilanova i la Geltrú & Sant Pere de Ribes. It is easy to find a taxi in Barcelona that will take you to Sitges although the cost, (between 75-85€ in addition to the highway toll charge) is high when compared with public transport. Barcelona taxis are black and yellow. There are many taxi companies in Barcelona.
