The European Researchers’ Night is a scientific outreach project promoted by the programme of research and innovation of Horizon Europe and the European Union.
Every last Friday of September of each year, more than 300 cities in 30 different European countries celebrate the European Researchers’ Night. Its objective is to bring research, innovation and the scientific community closer to citizenship in an enjoyable and significant way. As a result, all types of people, from schools to families with children or grown ups can participate and learn about science in their territory through different activities like workshops, spectacles, experiments, astronomical observations or games.
ICE-CSIC participates in the European Researchers' Night by conducting talks, micro-talks and educational workshops on the latest astronomical discoveries and facilitating various activities such as organising star-parties.
